The primary use of del.icio.us is to store bookmarks online rendering them accessible form any computer connected to the Internet. In addition, users can organize bookmarks with tags, view other user’s bookmarks, share bookmarks with them and browse or search bookmarks stored in del.icio.us.

This tool is an Internet utility to assist in the preparation of research. Teachers and students set up research projects with topics and sub-topics. Students may then take advantage of NoteStar's many features to collect and organize their notes and prepare their bibliography.
