WebQuests use World Wide Web resources for inquiry-based
instructional activities. Missouri teachers have created the high-quality WebQuests
offered here. All have been evaluated by eMINTS staff using a scoring guide. Show-Me
Standards met by each WebQuest are listed.

Students will work in small groups to learn the history of
fractals, chaos theory and dynamic systems and how these ideas are used in
art, science, history and music. Students will create a multimedia
presentation discussing the information they have learned in their research.

The objective in this WebQuest is for students to discover what logarithms are, why they were developed and how we use them to solve equations. Students' end product is an original lesson plan created in PowerPoint.
