Moodle (eMINTS campus)

August 2006 - eMINTS is moodling. eMINTS campus is an online collaborative learning environment for eMINTS staff, program participants and colleagues. It lives in Moodle, an open source CMS (course management system) created by Martin Dougiamas in Australia.

Many eMINTS programs are using the interactive, collaborative features and strategies of this evolving environment.

Elluminate Live! web conferencing - Version 8, July 2007

Constructivist lesson plan form and examples

eMINTS staff have created resources to help teachers evolve their teacher-directed lessons into more inquiry-based, constructivist style lessons. These resources include a constructivist lesson plan form and examples of teacher-directed and constructivist lesson plans.

Hallmarks of an effective eMINTS classroom

The Hallmarks of an Effective eMINTS Classroom outline the progression of changes in teaching practice that are often observed as teachers complete the eMINTS Comprehensive Professional Development Program. The Hallmarks can be used as a coaching and mentoring tool by instructional specialists working with eMINTS teachers as well as by teachers who are interested in charting their course and progress through eMINTS professional development.

Blackboard

  1. Go to Blackboard at Mizzou.
  2. Log in with the username and password provided.

eMINTS online modules (eSchool Online®)

  1. Place the eSchool CD-ROM for eMINTS online module in your computer's CD drive.
    • PC users: Click the Log on to eMINTS button to load the eSchool Online homepage. If the log in menu does not appear, go to My Computer and double-click the eMINTS icon to make the menu viewable.
    • Mac users: In the window that opens, double-click the Go to eMINTS.html icon to load the eSchool Online homepage. If the window does not appear, double-click the eSchool CD icon on your desktopto make the window viewable.
  2. Log in from eSchool Online homepage
    • If you have never registered for an eSchool Online course, click the Register button. Enter the course registration code provided by your course administrator. Follow the instructions to create your user account.
    • If you already have an eSchool Online account, log in with your existing username. Then click the My Account button and then the Enter new Course code here button to enter the registration code for your new course.
