Account management

eMINTS discussion lists run on the Mailman mailing list management software. Members can update their own account information and control their own preferences through a simple web interface.

How to subscribe

eMINTS discussion lists are limited to program participants and recognized partners. Subscriptions require a two-step process: request submission followed by eMINTS National Center approval for eligible subscribers. Please read all e-mail correspondence carefully and respond as requested to complete the subscription process.

To request subscription, visit the listinfo page for the desired discussion list (http://lists.emints.org/mailman/listinfo/listname):

Under the Subscribing to listname heading complete two simple steps and submit the request:

  1. In the Your e-mail address box, type in the e-mail address you wish to use for sending posts to and receiving posts from this discussion list (note, you may change this e-mail address at any time from your list configuration page).
  2. In the Your name (optional) box, type in your full name, first and last. Incomplete requests will be rejected.
    Note: You must supply this information to verify eligibility for participating in eMINTS discussion lists.

How to unsubscribe

To request removal from any eMINTS list, go to the list information page (http://lists.emints.org/mailman/listinfo/listname), enter your ID and password and follow the directions to unsubscribe. If you do not remember your ID/password, request a reminder be sent to you by e-mail so you can complete the unsubscribe request.

Do not send unsubscribe messages to any eMINTS list; the process is self-help and automatic. Please do not fill the inboxes of thousands of list participants with these inappropriate requests.

Monthly e-mail reminders are sent to list subscribers that include member’s password and links to unsubscribe or change personal preference settings.

All eMINTS teachers and LMS in buildings with the eMINTS program are enouraged, but not required to be on the eMINTS general discussion list. eMINTS teachers and LMS who currently are on the list may unsubscribe themselves at any time. The process requires following a few steps but it is now entirely under each member's control.

How to change the e-mail address where you submit and receive discussion list posts

List members can change their own settings and preferences, including receiving all messages in a daily "digest" form. Simply go to the list info page for the list (http://lists.emints.org/mailman/listinfo/listname), enter user ID and password and follow the directions on the personal list membership configuration page (http://lists.emints.org/mailman/options/listname).

Monthly e-mail reminders provide all list members with user and list information, including passwords. Users may request password reminders be sent by e-mail an any time from the list info page.
