Standards
ISTE Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S)
The National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S) are set up to guide educators in determining what abilities technologically-literate students should acquire in their educational experiences. The technology standards for students are divided into six broad categories.
Each of these standards is defined and grouped as grade-level appropriate concepts and skills, called performance indicators, for students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
Grade-Level Expectations (GLEs)
See Missouri's GLE information from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Show-Me Standards
The Missouri Show-Me
Standards are academic standards that incorporate and strongly promote active,
hands-on learning. By integrating and applying basic knowledge and skills in practical
and challenging ways across all disciplines, students become more engaged and
motivated learners.
Missouri-specific resources
Lewis and Clark resources
While many states observed special events from 2003 through
2006, celebrating the Corps of Discovery holds special meaning for Missouri as
the state from whence Lewis and Clark departed in 1804 and returned in 1806.
The goal is to facilitate the creation of high-quality
digital resources for Lewis and Clark materials for classroom use. MOREnet is
working together with the eMINTS program, Missouri
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Missouri
State Archives, University
of Missouri-Columbia's College of Education, University
of Missouri-Columbia Department of Geography, Missouri
Historical Society and others to make Lewis and Clark resources unique
to Missouri digitally available through the MOREnet network.
Resources include WebQuests, eThemes, videos, links to maps
and curriculum units. Additional resources will be added as they become available.
