Organization participation fee

Annual fee covers costs associated with management of eMINTS activities for districts/organizations involved in eMINTS implementations.

•   1-10 participants - $  6,000/year
• 11-25 participants - $10,000/year
• 26-50 participants - $24,000/year
• 51-75 participants - $35,000/year

Organization participation fee applies to all grant-funded participants (federal- and state-level grants) including professional development delivered by eMINTS National Center staff, PD4ETS participants and certified eMINTS Instructional Specialists.

2-year program (250 contact hours) with 10-12 classroom visits per year.

Required for official eMINTS teachers grades 3-12.

If delivered by eMINTS National Center staff:

• $6,000/teacher per year for 2 years
• Participants required to complete both years
• Multiple participant fee adjustment may apply

Replacement or additional comprehensive eMINTS teacher: Established eMINTS organizations adding or replacing comprehensive eMINTS teachers using organization funds and requesting eMINTS staff deliver the professional development, the following rates apply:

• $3,000/teacher per year for 2 years
• Participants required to complete both years

2-year program (90 contact hours) with 8-9 classroom visits per year.

Intended for teachers (and other educators) in schools with official eMINTS classrooms.

If delivered by eMINTS National Center staff:

• $3,000/teacher per year for 2 years
• Participants required to complete both years
• Multiple participant fee adjustment may apply

Replacement eMINTS4All teacher: Established eMINTS organizations adding or replacing eMINTS4All teachers using organization funds and requesting eMINTS staff deliver the professional development, the following rates apply:

• $2,000/teacher per year for 2 years
• Participants required to complete both years

2-year “train-the-trainer” program with up to 4 site visits per year.

Intended for school- or organization-level educational technology professional development specialists.

Includes variety of support mechanisms.

Successful completion of certification process allows participants to deliver eMINTS PD and eMINTS4All to school or organization educators for annual access fee.

Recertification workshops available to certified eMINTS Instructional Specialists only.

Minimum of 3 days of recertification required every 3 years following receipt of certification.

• Year 1 - $12,500 per participant
• Year 2 - $5,000 per participant

Recertification workshops for certified eMINTS Instructional Specialists:

• 1 day - $100
• 2 day - $200
• 3 day - $300
• Multiple participant fee adjustment may be available.

Upon completion of certification as eMINTS Instructional Specialist, $750 annual access fee per specialist for eMINTS materials access rights.

Cohort group size limited to 12 participants. Minimum cohort size: 5 participants.

Replacement PD4ETS: If an organization needs to replace a certified eMINTS instructional specialist, eMINTS will allow a replacement educator to participate in the PD4ETS program at a reduced rate. Please note that these costs apply ONLY to organizations that are replacing individuals who have completed the PD4ETS program and are certified instructional specialists or to organizations that are replacing individuals who have completed only Year 1 of the PD4ETS program but are unable to complete Year 2 of the program. It is not intended as a mechanism for districts to add additional PD4ETS participants.

• Year 2 - $5,000 per participant

1. Summer veterans institute - $200/year
2. Enrollment in an online collaboration environment for teachers who have completed eMINTS PD. Includes access to updated participant PD modules and online resource lists - $125/year (for 3 or more participants from the same district - $100 per person/year).
3. eMINTS Winter Conference registration fee (1 day) - $150/year

Veteran teachers may also be interested in e-Learning for Educators courses (short online professional development courses in a variety of content areas).

5. eMINTS Leadership Institute
(available in Missouri only)

Required for MO grant-funded organizations

Applicants for Missouri Title II.D competitive grants should budget for a one-day meeting about grant implementation to be held in Columbia, MO. Participation cost included in organization participation fee.

Other organizations interested in participating, please contact the eMINTS office to check for program/location availability and costs.

The following individuals who participated in the grant application should plan to attend the fall meeting:

• Building principal(s)
• Representative of eMINTS teachers
• Representative of eMINTS4All teachers (if applicable)
• Library media specialist
• Technology coordinator and building technology facilitator (if applicable)
• PD4ETS participant or certified eMINTS instructional specialist
• Organization level administrators, as desired
• Organization level staff development specialist (if applicable)

Year-long professional development for administrators in eMINTS schools or organizations.

Two day-long face-to-face sessions and 12 hours online.

• Participation cost included in organization participation fee.
• Participation fee for organization-funded participants waived.
• Others interested in participating, please contact the eMINTS office to check for program/location availability.

Cohort group size limited to 25 participants. Minimum cohort size: 10 participants.

One day professional development for technical contacts in eMINTS schools or organizations.

Followed by access to online collaboration tools for technical contacts.

• Participation cost included in organization participation fee.
• Participation fee for organization-funded participants waived.

Cohort group size limited to 25 participants. Minimum cohort size: 10 participants.

This program consists of self-paced learning using interactive CDs (approximately five hours) and access to online resources and discussion.

Variety of partial-day workshops and multi-day PD experiences for educators.
