Call for presentations

The eMINTS Winter Conference 2009 planning committee invites the submission of proposals for 1-hour presentations and 3-hour pre-conference workshops at the 10th annual eMINTS Winter Conference to be held in Columbia, MO, March 3 - 5, 2010.

• All presenters are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
• One presenter per accepted presentation proposal receives free registration for the 2010 eMINTS Winter Conference.
• Certified eMINTS instructional specialists can earn 2 recertification units by presenting at the eMINTS Winter Conference.
• Deadline for submissions - Monday, November 15, 2009
• Notification of acceptance - December 5, 2009

One-hour breakout session

One-hour sessions will take place in a typical conference setting. Presenter will have access to projector and Internet. Hands-on and participant involvement are strongly encouraged. Please indicate in your presentation description if participants need laptop computers. Please be aware that Internet access is not guaranteed for all participants. Presenters are responsible for providing copies of all handouts and any supplemental materials.

Presentation materials must be submitted to conference committee by Jan. 30, 2010.

Three-hour pre-conference workshop

Want to work hands-on, in depth with a small group of educators to demonstrate and share an educational technology tool or strategy? These 3-hour, hands-on workshops should feature in-depth coverage of a single topic in a small group setting. Provide ample opportunity for experimentation, collaboration and Q&A and a project to take home.
