These 3-hour, hands-on workshops will feature in-depth coverage of a single topic in a small group setting. Ample opportunity for experimentation, collaboration and Q&A.

Do you want to TeachMobile? Are you an "on-the-go" teacher with little time? Come discover 5 free, favorite Google Tools that make educators lives easier, saving time while allowing for collaborative, global communication. Participants will be introduced to 5 favorite Google Tools, including Gmail with voice & video chat; Google Calendar, Google Docs, Blogger and Sites, an online collaborative website. These 5 Faves will be demonstrated to provide useful teacher resources.
Participants should create a free Google e-mail account (gmail) prior to the session and are encouraged to bring their own laptops and ideas. Ample Q & A and exploration time will be given throughout this 3-hour workshop.
Take-away - Participants will choose to develop & share a Google Document, Blog, and/or Google Site.

03-Writing Interactive Lessons Using SMART Notebook 10
Presenters - Kim Harrick, certified eMINTS instructional specialist; and Ellen Downs, PD4ETS participant, Rockwood (MO) School District
Participants will explore the possibilities of using SMART Notebook (version 10) to the fullest as they design lessons, create units and organize resources. Presenters will share examples of lessons that teachers in the Rockwood School District use for instruction in all curricular areas. Participants will have ample time for collaboration and mapping instructional units that focus on using the interactive SMART Board to enhance learning.
Take-away - Attendees will learn the newest features SMART Notebook 10 has to offer, edit templates in the SN 10 Teacher Toolkit and create interactive lessons/activities using SN 10 for instruction.
