eMINTS summer workshops

General information

An intensive professional development opportunity will be provided for Missouri educators by eMINTS National Center staff who work with teachers in the eMINTS program. eMINTS' Summer Workshops provide a concentrated learning experience for eMINTS educators who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in using multimedia technology to enhance inquiry-based learning.

The eMINTS National Center is a collaborative program developed by the University of Missouri, Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Missouri Department of Higher Education.

Dates and locations

Sessions typically meet 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Maps and directions to workshop locations are available from the session links below.

Costs

• Veterans institutes - $200 per participant

Lunch and snacks are provided each day of the workshop along with participant materials. Other costs of attending the workshop are the responsibility of the individual participant or his/her organization. Graduate credit is not available for the workshops. eMINTS will provide a certificate of attendance and overview of topics covered for individuals who wish to seek independent study credit from the institution of their choice.

Payment information

Note: University policies require the following payment procedures:

• Payment must be received within ten working days of the submission date of your registration form or the registration will be cancelled.
• Registrants will receive e-mail confirmation after payment is received.
• Types of payment accepted: Purchase order or credit card (Visa, Master Card and Discover) only.
• Contact the eMINTS office if alternative payment form is needed.

1. Complete the online registration form.
2. Contact the eMINTS office with your credit card information within ten working days:

Purchase order (P.O.) payments

1. Complete the online registration form, making sure to include the Purchase Order number in its designated field.
2. Payable to University of Missouri.
3. Fax your Purchase Order to eMINTS office at [573] 884=7614 within ten working days.

Cancellation and refund information

• Participants who cancel before online registration closes will be eligible for a full refund.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the announced closing date for online registration.

Registration

Registration closes two weeks before session OR when each session is filled.

• Registration is limited to a specific number of seats available at each site.
• Online registration only will be accepted for these sessions.
• Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early to secure your preferred date and location.
• Please note any special accommodation requests (diet, mobility, accessibility, etc.) on the registration form.
• Registration closes two weeks before each session begins OR when the capacity for the location is filled.
