General information
Welcome to the eMINTS PD4ETS program. Participants from the
2009-2010 Missouri cohort groups begin their professional
development with a required orientation in Columbia on July 15, 2009.

Scheduling
During
the orientation you will meet with your eMINTS instructors to determine schedules
for subsequent meetings in your specific cohort group locations, so please bring your calendars.
Networking
This welcome and orientation meeting will be an opportunity
to network with others who have positions similar to yours and to learn and
share what works in teacher professional development. We will share with
you the proven techniques and approaches that are part of the eMINTS comprehensive
professional development program. We also hope to benefit from the knowledge
and experiences you bring to the program.

Costs
The cost of the orientation is covered under the grant or fee paid by the district. Lunch is provided on the day of orientation event. All other travel expenses are your district/organization’s responsibility.
