Dia de los Muertos
This site has information and activities relating to the Day of the Dead. There are photos, slideshows, video clips, recipes, and crafts. Lesson Plan: Day of the Dead
Here are activity ideas for a Day of the Dead mini-unit. Students can make and decorate a skull sculpture, learn about altars, write an original poem about the Day of the Dead, or visit a cemetary, and discuss what they have learned.
