These sites are about the Mark Twain Award nominees for 2005-2006. Includes biographies for the authors, plus some book excerpts, reviews, and activities.

eThemes Resource: Writing: Purpose
These sites are about persuasive, narrative, and expository writing and why authors write. Includes examples of how to write in these different styles and graphic organizers to help students arrange their thoughts. Read author biographies about their writing and where they get inspiration from.
