Students can make graphs comparing this retired baseball player's statistics from each year he played. NOTE: This site includes ads.

Lengths of Major Rivers
This site features the measurements of the major rivers all over the world.

Weather Statistics
Students can graph the information about each city's temperature for one day or over a period of time. This site is updated every couple of days.

The Weather Channel
Enter a zip code and record the temperature one city over time, or several cities in one day. NOTE: This site has pop-up ads.

Graph Whale Sizes
Use this whale data for students to create a graph. They can use this graph already constructed or make a new one. NOTE: This site includes a banner ad.

Lesson Plan: M&M's Candies, Line Plot, and Graphing
This lesson plan brings fun into the classroom with M&M candies. The plan includes worksheets and photographs. To find more information about candies use M&M company link in the end of the lesson plan. Select "About M&M's" and then "Characters" links.

Graphing in the Information Age
This site provides graphing exercises using data, such as television viewing hours, average earning, and crime types, from statistics Canada's web site. Questions for students to answer about each graph created in each activity are included.

Let's Graph
This site provides examples of graphs that developed from survey information. Netscape is required if you want to see changes in graphs when changing the information. Suggested activities for making your own graphs are included.

Show Me the Graphs
This learning unit is a 31 page PDF File that provides series of activity that help students create and understand different kinds of graphs.

eThemes Resource: Math: Circle Graphs/Pie Charts
These sites include interactive games, activities, and simulations of circle graphs/pie charts. Also includes some basic data that can be analyzed and some scoring rubrics.

These sites include examples of different types of graphs such as bar, line, and pictographs. Many of the sites are interactive and demonstrate how graphing works. Also includes several hands-on activities. There are links to eThemes Resources on circle graphs and statistics to graph.
