Kids Valley Garden
A great site for kids to learn about the different aspects of gardening and plants. Includes information on flowers, veggies, herbs, and shrubs.
Trees
This interactive site lets you design trees to fit into forests. Click on "Tree Shape Game" to design an appropriate tree for a forest.
The Great Plant Escape
This is a good web site to use when studying plants. Click on the carrot and choose a case to solve. Each case covers a different plant topic.
ThinkQuest: Giant Sequoias
Thinkquest Junior 2000 Winner. This student-designed site is filled with images as well as information and news articles about the giant sequoia forests.
Roots
Look at the pictures of different types of roots. Click on the illustrations to see real photographs.
