This is a fun way to learn about solar energy. Take a look into Roofus' home and learn about solar energy. Includes project ideas.

Interactive Energy
There are definitions, experiments, and interactive features about energy.

WebQuest: Power! Power! We Need More Power!
In "Power! Power! We Need More Power!" students are on a quest to prevent an energy shortage that caused them to lose power while they were playing a video game. Students work in cooperative groups of four to study basic concepts about energy. They complete a scavenger hunt and an energy quiz. This is an eMINTS Webquest.

Change in Biological Energy
Learn about energy produced from food and other various fuel sources. Click on the yellow tab "Force" at the right and then select the "Potential and Kinetic Energy" link to learn about these types of energy.

Energy Information Administration Kids Page
Learn about renewable and nonrenewable energy. Read biographies of scientists who made important discoveries relating to energy. Click on "Classroom Connections" for activity ideas.

Energy Quest
Click on the globe for an energy timeline. Click on the Gameboy for links to energy games.

Atoms Family
This is a fun, interactive site about energy. The online activities are organized by grade level.

Glossary of Renewable Energy Terms and Phrases
Use this glossary as a guide to terminology in discussion of renewable energy.

Collect Solar Energy
This experiment is designed for grade 3-5 students. Kids will learn what is solar energy and its uses.

BBC: Physics: Energy
Read more about energy and related topics and try the quizzes. NOTE: The "Talk" link leads to message boards.

eThemes Resource: Energy: Electricity: Circuits, Conductors and Batteries
This resource has lots of animation to demonstrate how electricity, circuits, batteries work as well as the difference between conductors and insulators. Many sites require Shockwave, Flash. Also there are some suggested activities, hands-on experiments and online quizzes.
