  1. A back up computer must be available that can connect to the interactive whiteboard if the teacher is not at school and a substitute is in the classroom. The back-up machine must meet student laptop specifications so instruction can continue.
  2. * Schools or districts with current site licenses for Inspiration® may substitute Inspiration for SMART Ideas if all professional development is provided by a certified eMINTS instructional specialist employed by the district. Kidspiration® may be preferable for K-3 classrooms.
  3. It is highly recommended that a docking station be purchased if funds are available.
  4. Anything above minimum in hardware is acceptable (for example, upgraded memory, graphics card or sound card).
