Participants may choose to attend a preconference workshop only, preconference & one conference day, both conference days or all three days. The conference will not be canceled or rescheduled for inclement weather.

To guide your session selections, choose sessions based on topic and description, intended audience, tech skills level and – new this year – level of learning.
1- Audience(s) – Administrators; Elementary, middle, high school teachers; PD4ETS participants & grads; special ed; gifted ed; ed tech; online educators
2- Tech level – Beginner, intermediate, advanced
3- Level of learning
- Develops – Participants will be introduced to a concept, topic, instructional strategy or instructional tool. Characteristics, attributes, etc. will be shared and discussed.
- Supports – Participants will be involved in analyzing and evaluation how the concept, topic, instructional strategy or instructional tool will be used in the classroom or learning environment.
- Transfers – Participants engage in experiences that will support immediate application in their classroom or learning environment.
Costs – payment & cancellation information
Preconference workshops – $75 per person (lunch on your own)
One day conference – $135 per person
Two days conference – $225 per person
One day & preconference – $200 per person
Two days & preconference – $275 per person
Discounts for presenters (one presenter per presentation) and teachers who selected this reward for hosting classroom visits are available.
eMINTS provides lunch on conference days; indicate your meal choice on the registration form. Districts are responsible to pay for substitute teachers, mileage, meals (except for lunch on the day of the conference) and lodging expenses for educators to attend the conference. Districts will be invoiced for appropriate registration fees.
- One day (Thursday or Friday) conference registration fee is paid (as part of district’s participation fee) for year 1 PD4ETS program participants and for year 2 teachers in the eMINTS comprehensive PD program from districts that pay participation fees for eMINTS professional development AND from districts that are grant-funded. Year 1 PD4ETS participants and year 2 comp PD teachers from these districts who elect to attend a preconference workshop or a second day of Winter Conference will be charged for additional days.
- All other conference attendees, including Year 2 teachers who are receiving professional development from PD4ETS participants or from eMINTS certified instructional specialists employed by their districts, will incur registration fees as detailed above. Districts will be invoiced for registration fees.

Participants who cancel on or before February 3, 2012, will not be invoiced for the registration fee. After February 3, invoices will be sent and payment required. No refunds are available for cancellations after February 3, 2012.

Laptops and connectivity
- All participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring their laptops to the conference; however, wireless service is not guaranteed.
- A tech kiosk to help conference attendees connect to the conference wireless network will be available during morning registration.
- The conference hotel’s business center is available for participants who wish to check e-mail during breaks.
