Missouri faces a critical shortage of qualified workers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematical (STEM) fields. This summit will focus attention on ways we can improve our STEM talent development pipeline. Emphasis during the summit will be placed on discussions surrounding high-impact educational programming, public/private partnerships and systemic change to enhance our K-12 and higher education platforms.

All course activities are online. Most eLearning courses run 7 weeks including an initial orientation week. Each week participants participate in an online discussion and complete course assignments.

The eMINTS National Center’s annual conference 2014 planning committee invites the submission of proposals for 1-hour and 2-hour presentations at the 14th annual conference to be held in Columbia, MO, February 26 –28, 2014.
Proposal deadline extended to November 1, 2013.
