Advisory Board
The eMINTS National Center is advised by a group who represent the stakeholders invested in the programs administered by the Center:
- eMINTS
- e-Learning for Educators: Missouri
The eMINTS National Center Advisory Board provides guidance to the center's director in the areas of policy formation, strategic planning, fiscal planning and resource development and ensuring overall program accountability.
eMINTS National Center Advisory Board members are challenged to sustain the program by acting as
- Representatives of the program who help build critical relationships
- Sponsors who advocate on behalf of the program’s interests
- Reliable advisors who act as a sounding board for the program’s leadership team
- Resource developers who help the program secure essential resources and connections
Advisory Board membership
Membership of the eMINTS National Center Advisory Board includes individuals representing Missouri constituencies who serve three-year terms as well as those whose position or status as a national consultant allows them to serve indefinite terms. Members representing various constituencies are nominated by current program participants and selected to provide geographical and district size representations from across the state.
Members serving three-year terms
- A Missouri superintendent whose district is involved in one or more program(s)
- A Missouri principal from a school serving some combination of grades K-5
- A Missouri principal from a school serving some combination of grades 6-12
- A Missouri eMINTS teacher (any grade or subject area)
- A technology coordinator or chief information officer from a Missouri district
- A certified eMINTS instructional specialist who has completed the PD4ETS program or a library media specialist from a Missouri district
- A representative of an institution of higher education that is involved with eMINTS
- Two eMINTS staff members elected by eMINTS staff

- Director of e-Learning for Educators program

The eMINTS National Center Advisory Board meets twice annually in person and once via e-conference.
The eMINTS National Center Advisory Board also includes work groups that represent each of the programs administered through the Center. The work groups are composed of individuals representing the program constituents. Work groups meet on an ad hoc basis throughout the year to provide input and feedback to the Advisory Board on topics of current interest to the Board.
