i3 districts Data POCs – required webinar

30 January 2012

Districts that are participating in the “Validating eMINTS (i3) Project” will complete online assessments of 21st Century Skills (technology usage, problem-solving, etc) developed by learning.com with students who are currently in grades 6, 7 and 8 in spring 2012.

In spring 2011 district Data POCs attended a webinar and came to Columbia to upload student files. This year a webinar will be held as a “refresher” but Data POCs will upload files at the district. Assistance will be available by telephone if needed.

To prepare student accounts for the online assessment, districts must create data sets as instructed by learning.com. The first step in creating the data sets is attendance at a webinar. All Data POCs are required to register for and attend one of the webinars. Up to two individuals per district may attend.
